Maddy was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. From the very beginning, she loved to perform whether it was dancing to songs from musicals for her family or making movies on a video camera. She started dancing at Miss Alexandra’s School of Ballet and then danced for a majority of her childhood at RJ’s Dance Studios on the competition team. She also danced at COCA during her summers and on her high school dance team at Parkway Central High School where she was elected varsity dance captain. She took private violin and voice lessons, and later joined her school choir from 7th grade up until her senior year. During high school, she sang and acted as Queen of the Madrigal dinner, performed in her school musical, and danced and choreographed for choir performances. On the weekends, when she was not competing or rehearsing, she worked as a party dancer and DJ assistant for Utopia Experience, previously known as Utopia Entertainment. Her experience working in an arts management setting only grew her love for performing, productions, and the entertainment industry.

Maddy graduated in May of 2024 from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. From classes in arts management, choreography, technique, pedagogy, and performing in many shows, she is well-rounded in her knowledge of dance and entertainment. She has also been a part of a few organizations on campus, serving as a member and leader. In her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, which helps advocate for Domestic Violence Awareness, Maddy has held the following positions/roles: elected as class representative for Risk Management, assistant to VP Recruitment Information, class representative for the Chapter Standards and Relations board, serving on other committees such as DEI, and directing, choreographing, music editing, and writing the script for the sorority’s homecoming lip sync performance. Working on creative projects is one of her favorite things to do!

Mission Statement:

To be a desired professional in the entertainment industry by bringing my authenticity and energy into every room I step into, aiming to connect and inspire audiences, and committing to continuous growth as an artist.

Passions & Interests

Maddy has been lucky to travel all over the country and world. She loves experiencing new cultures and learning new languages. She most frequently travels to Italy, as she has family there she gets to see and stay with.

Traveling

When not dancing, Maddy enjoys moving her body in other ways such as strength training, different forms of cardio, pilates, barre, and sculpt. She also likes to educate herself about nutrition and gets inspiration from her father who has his own plant-based website. She is currently getting her certification in personal training!

Fitness and Health

When Maddy was younger, she wanted to be a veterinarian. She loves all animals and is currently a dog walker in NYC.

Animals

Not only has Maddy enjoyed being on the performing side, but in school she learned how much she enjoys the process of putting on a production. One of her favorite classes she took was Stage Management. From creating schedules, to knowing about each position behind the scenes, to calling a show, Maddy knows she would like to be a stage manager or do more arts management work in the future.

Arts Management

Maddy values quality time with her friends and family. Having people to laugh with, make memories with, and to help build a support system is important to her.

Friends and Family

What Maddy loves most about performing is the story-telling. She believes in the power of live performances to unite people and spark emotions. Her dream musicals to be in include 42nd Street, The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge, A Chorus Line, and West Side Story.

And of course…performing!
